Fortress Columbia

The heart of government for Washington State. This is a rather fun map, it's got a little bit of everything. There's several large government buildings, a small suburb, a large field, a parking lot, and a forest. You'll start in the capitol building, which is very well stocked with supplies and ammunition and fairly easily defended. However, you won't find enough ammunition to hold it indefinitely - you'll have to find a way to break out and search surrounding areas.

I'm quite happy with the way it turned out. Holding the capitol for as long as you can and then sprinting to one of the neigboring buildings is a lot of fun. Alternatively, you could try to abandon the capitol and then return to liberate it after you've looted all the other buildings.

Two of the government buildings here are very close to their real-world counterparts in layout. The capitol building is about 4/5 the actual floorplan, with guesswork filling in the gaps. The temple of justice north of the capitol is about half the floor plan and half guesswork.
